About Us

St. George’s Song School is an inclusive choral program for students aged 6-18, open to all cultures and abilities, with ongoing registration. The program fosters creativity and musical exploration through classical choral and vocal training. Activities include:

  • Weekly choral rehearsals

  • Group theory and aural classes

  • Keyboard skills sessions

  • Private singing, piano, and organ lessons

The Song School nurtures each student's unique gifts, focusing on the joy of making music together and exploring their full potential. Flexible pricing ensures no student is left behind.

Upcoming Events

Father’s Day Concert & BBQ - June 15th at 3:30pm

This community event features the folk music of local artist and parish warden, Matthew Joel (VanderKwaak), and a performance by the award winning St. George’s Junior Choir. Music begins at 3:30pm followed by a BBQ picnic (serving fresh-fried potato chips) and lawn games at 5:00pm.

The talented Nevin Cussen (chef for Shrove Tuesday) with the help of Trinity House residents will support the food offering.There will be games, prizes, and snacks provided by the Sunday School for the young and young-at-heart!

Admission is by donation in support of the St. George’s Song School, a free program bringing music education children in the HRM.
